The headset also has a volume control knob to control the sound level and an EQ knob with three different positions. You can of course easily solve this by increasing the volume and I didn't expect that it would be completely noise canceled with this price range. However, it is not completely noise canceled at normal volume, you will still hear background noises outside the game audio. You can also hear the different sounds such as footsteps, explosions and shots from different sides when you play a shooter (for example Cold War). The high bass is present, but you can still hear the sharpness of, for example, reloading your weapon. The sound quality is not excellent, but very good, sharp and also quite loud. The USB Dongle has a button and shows a green light to also switch to PC mode if you want to use it for the desktop or laptop. You plug the USB dongle into the PS5, a blue light appears, you press the power button of the headset and a connection is made immediately. You should also not wear the headset too tight, because the headband can irritate very slightly, nevertheless it is the most comfortable gaming headset I have ever worn. You forget for a moment that you have a headset on. It also feels super light after wearing it for a long time. My ears fall completely into the earpads and after 6 to 7 hours of playing it is still super comfortable. One of the biggest reasons I chose this headset is because of the super soft (suede) fabric as earpads. Despite the fact that the outside is a bit on the mediocre side, it feels robust itself. The colors do match the Playstation 5, but it looks a bit cheap with all that hard plastic. I don't think the design of the new Gen 2 is bad, but also not wow. Perhaps also useful if Coolblue indicates in the product description that it is a Gen 2, because I also had my doubts here. I didn't want to spend too much money on it, but I didn't need an overpriced gaming headset either. After looking and reading some reviews I finally settled on the Astro A20 Gen 2. Sound quality is very good with focus on high bass.īefore the PS5 I was hesitating between this and the Pulse 3D from Sony.

This can add a bit of confusion as the term Central Time does not differentiate between standard time and Daylight Saving Time, so Central Time switches between CST and CDT in areas that use DST during part of the year. In everyday usage, CST is often referred to as Central Time (CT) or the Central Time Zone. Central Daylight Time (CDT) is used during the remainder of the year. Central Standard Time ZoneĬentral Standard Time (CST) is a standard time zone in use from the first Sunday in November to the second Sunday in March-when Daylight Saving Time (DST) is not in effect. In North America, Central Standard Time shares a border with Eastern Standard Time (EST) in the east and with Mountain Standard Time (MST) in the west. It spans from northern Canada and all the way south to Costa Rica near the equator. It is also used in Mexico and Central America.Ībout a third of the population in the USA live in the CST time zone. One notable use of instrument amongst these arrangers is the guitar. Unlike the previous fighters that had U2 Akiyama and ZUN for the music, this time other composers from different doujin groups come and made an official contribution, mainly to re-arrange characters' themes from previous Touhou games. There is a total of 30 tracks in the game. The girls thought of controlling the urban legends by themselves as a necessary measure for keeping people from harm. More than that, they can be turned into powers of one's own. Reimu and company have assumed the rumors that fit them, and treat the anomalies as their playthings.Īs long as one can control the rumors without being afraid, the manifested anomalies can be rendered harmless. Urban legends have an interesting property.Īs the circulating rumors change, the anomalies will change correspondingly. They know these to be the outside world's " urban legends" (made-up stories). Since there were no real victims, the adults have come to think of them as merely children's silly talks. Unlike the youkai whose natural purpose is to attack humans, these rumors are both unsettling and impossible to discern the truth underneath. These pointless rumors have exploded, and driven the children into fear. "A dog with a human's face was rummaging in the compost pile." "Somebody saw an old woman selling humans' feet." Strange rumors are circulating in the Human Village. Main articles: Story, Translation, Characters, and Stages The word itself can also be more generally used to mean up-in-the-air or unfinished, as in the phrase "in limbo." The concept is controversial and is not an official doctrine of Catholicism. " Limbo" in Catholic theology is an idea that there exists a separate, less "damning" afterlife in earth for those who died in the friendship of God but still in original sin, or due to a serious matter that the deceased left pending during life, which left to the soul of said person unable to enter the heaven. An " urban legend" refers to a modern folklore story, usually false, but believed by many regardless. With this, a recurring theme in the game is using manga-style graphics, where each introduction to an opponent shows them drawn in a manga-style way.īefore its first announcement with Twilight Frontier, there were only English words in its title. She replaces longtime artist alphes, who previously served as the artist on all of Touhou's fighting games. One exception is the use of Moe Harukawa, artist of Forbidden Scrollery, as the game's portrait artist. The game features a similar style and gameplay to the previous fighter Hopeless Masquerade. Main articles: Gameplay and Spell Cards Concept suggested so I needed another way, otherwise I would have made a VM property that returned a SolidColorBrush (or similar) from the RectangleColour string property. Unfortunately, WinRT hasn't got the that H.B. Public object ConvertBack(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, string language) Return new SolidColorBrush(ColorHelper.FromArgb(īyte.Parse(a, ),īyte.Parse(r, ),īyte.Parse(g, ),īyte.Parse(b, ))) Var b = hexString.Length = 8 ? hexString.Substring(6, 2) : hexString.Substring(4, 2) Var g = hexString.Length = 8 ? hexString.Substring(4, 2) : hexString.Substring(2, 2) Var r = hexString.Length = 8 ? hexString.Substring(2, 2) : hexString.Substring(0, 2) Var a = hexString.Length = 8 ? hexString.Substring(0, 2) : "255" If (hexString.Length != 6 || hexString.Length != 8) throw new FormatException() If (string.IsNullOrWhiteSpace(hexString)) throw new FormatException() Var hexString = (value as string).Replace("#", "") Public object Convert(object value, Type targetType, object parameter, string language) So I created a converter class: public class StringToSolidColorBrushConverter : IValueConverter Specifically, converting from a color to a SolidColorBrush. I made it with the intention that a 6-digit (RGB), or an 8-digit (ARGB) Hex value could be used either way. Class ColorConverter Provides a way to apply custom logic to a binding. You could always use the code from the converter class I created to re-use and do in your C# code-behind, or wherever you're using it, to be honest: Hopefully this will help people across the board, whichever situation they're in. I'm not sure whether you're using WPF or WinRT, but they do differ in some ways (some better than others). I posted this because in the last few months I have had to do this a bit, and kept forgetting how each time I wanted to, so hopefully this will serve as a useful reminder.Sorry to be so late to the party! I came across a similar issue, in WinRT. These methods provide two ways to convert a colour into a brush that you can then use to fill a rectangle or other UI element as necessary using programmatic means. Var brush = new SolidColorBrush(.Goldenrod) Īlternatively, if you have the colour stored in a variable then you can convert it like this: private void ConvertColour()Ĭolor col = .Goldenrod Converting from Ĭonverting from a system colour can be done by an instantiation of the SolidColorBrush type and feeding it the colour as a parameter in the constructor, like so: private void ConvertColour() For a full list of methods available to the brush converter, see the MSDN article here. ToString() method doesnt generate a Human readable String result like Green. You should use switch statement to convert it to some String value. There are other ways to convert colours to brushes using the brush converter, including from objects, mostly inherited from TypeConverter. Public Function Convert(value As Object, targetType As Type, parameter As Object, culture As Globalization.CultureInfo) As Object Implements IValueConverter.Convert Dim S As SolidColorBrush value Return S. In the WPF, the hex code stands just as it were rgba. Var brush = (Brush)new ().ConvertFromString("#FF0000") Other variations may work but I’ve only tried and tested the one I’m about to show. It’s best if the string represents a colour code in a 6-digit hexadecimal format (“#FF0000” for example). Converting from StringĬonverting a colour to a string can be done using a brush converter. There can be various ways to do this depending on how you have your colour stored, so this post gives a couple of ways to convert a colour into a brush to style a UI element. Something that may be occasionally frustrating is trying to quickly colour a UI element on a WPF window programmatically when you know the colour code, or maybe even have a ‘color’ variable storing the colour for you. You can then use this emotional connection to attract her to you. In other words, you can use NLP to create an emotional connection with her. You see, with NLP techniques, you’ll be able to build rapid rapport between you and your target on a subconscious level. You must make her emotions overrule her conscious mind.Īnd this is where NLP has its greatest use. You can’t reason a woman into loving you. This means that if you want a woman to fall in love with you, you need to make her feel it. (Guys are more rational in their love lives this is pretty much driven by how our brains are wired.) You see, unlike guys, women make their love-life decisions based on emotional responses. Well, the truth lies in this little tidbit of information regarding women psychology. No one knows what women want in a man–not even the women themselves. It’s a question which men have pondered for centuries, but the answer is not that obvious. RELATED: Dark Triad Seduction NLP for Seductionĭo you know what women looking for in a guy? As the name suggests, you are quite literally inserting thoughts into her head in brute force. NLP plants thoughts into your target’s mind without the need to put her in an unconscious trance. Here’s how NLP is different from traditional hypnosis. You can use it to implant thoughts and ideas into your target’s head in the same way hypnosis does, but there’s a difference. Similarly, NLP is about delivering a script (also known as routines or sequences in the seduction world). Unlike hypnotism, however, NLP is much more “social” in its approach.ĭuring a hypnosis session, the hypnotist delivers scripted dialogue to the target until she falls into a trance. Neuro-Linguistic Programming is a little-known branch of science loosely related to hypnosis. So, let’s delve a little further into some of the uses NLP has when used to seduce women. Neuro-Linguistic Programming, or better known as NLP. Reading someone in this way is entirely possible. “I had no idea!”Īs surprising as it might sound –yes. “You looked up and to the right, which means you were creating information rather than truly recalling it.” John leaned back in his chair and his eyes darted towards the ceiling. I said to John, “I need some basic information from you before we start. So, he’d come to me to learn some new skills to be better with the ladies. He didn’t have much experience with women, either. You see, John wasn’t exactly the best looking guy in the world. (To protect the innocent, let’s call him John.) I was sitting in my office here one day with a new Shogun Method client of mine. Reading Time: 12 Minutes Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Techniques for Seduction She compared genetic samples collected from the Cincinnati lizards to samples taken from the reported source population in Europe and confirmed a substantial loss of genetic diversity indicating a genetic bottleneck. Thesis added credibility to Rau's saurian saga. Research conducted by Cassandra Homan for her 2013 University of Cincinnati M.S. He also repeated his story in several interviews with the news media. The lizard story may ring like local folklore however, George Rau wrote a letter in 1989 to herpetologists at the Cincinnati Museum of Natural History detailing his role as the lizard leader. Of course, they should have been named "George's Lizards" in honor of their true patron. Local residents called them "Lazarus lizards" in misplaced recognition of the lizard's perceived sponsors. Some of the European scaly ex-pats thrived to eventually become so numerous that Torrence Court became known as Lizard Hill. George smuggled a few (6 to 10 depending on the reference source) through customs to release them into the landscape at his family's home on Torrence Court located in the eastern Cincinnati suburb of East Walnut Hills. In 1951, 10-year-old George Rau Jr., step-son of Fred Lazarus III, came across some common wall lizards scurrying across rocky slopes while on a family vacation to Lake Garda in northern Italy. It's associated with the Lazarus family best known in Ohio for their connections with department stores. The name "Lazarus" has nothing to do with sacrificing a tail to escape death and rise again. The swollen area is most likely where the old tail broke off allowing the Lazarus lizard to survive an attack by a predator. You may spot a lizard with a slight swelling at the base of its tail. If you're visiting Greater Cincinnati in the summer or early fall, keep your eyes peeled for small lizards scurrying over rock walls, darting across sidewalks, and lurking in landscaping. This further confuses predators and no doubt gives them nightmares. Lovecraft, their break-away tail continues to writhe and wiggle long after it’s severed. The ability for an animal to shed appendages if seized by a predator is called autotomy which is derived from the Greek words for “self” and “severing.” Lazarus lizards don’t turn tail and run, they drop tail and flee. If you're a native Cincinnatian, you would likely call them Lazarus Lizards. If you live in Europe, they are Common Wall Lizards. If you're an American herpetologist, you call them European Wall Lizards. I eventually learned the lizard's common name is influenced by where you stand, literally. But I could not find the saurian outpost known as Lizard Hill on any map. I knew how to find Over-the-Rhine, Columbia-Tusculum, and Carthage. I had developed a taste for goetta after visiting Goettafest across the Ohio River in Covington, KY. I had enjoyed Cincinnati Chili, which is served on a spaghetti plate, not in a chili bowl. However, I thought that I had become familiar with most of the eccentricities of the Queen City. She also said they had migrated throughout the city from Lizard Hill. I asked a native Cincinnatian if they could identify the lizards and was told they are “Lazarus lizards” and they have detachable tails. My long fascination with these non-native natives (that’s not a misprint) began several years ago when I observed lizards that I could not identify scurrying around a landscape on Reading Road (SR 42) near downtown Cincinnati. However, I’m resurrecting these fascinating reptiles based on spotting a few skittering around on a rock retaining wall near my home in Butler County, just north of Cincinnati. I’ve posted several BYGL Alerts over the years about the so-called Lazarus Lizards ( Podarcis muralis, family Lacertidae).
